I’m Jonas, and I work at the intersection of marketing and photography. I’m interested in how strong visuals and clear storytelling can help people connect with an idea, a message, or a moment.
My Journey
I’ve been photographing for more than fifteen years. During that time, I’ve worked across creative campaigns, weddings, family portraits, event photography and more. Each setting has offered something different and has shaped the way I pay attention to people and their stories. Those experiences have sharpened my eye for detail and strengthened my appreciation for how a single image can communicate clearly, spark connection, and hold meaning long after the moment has passed.
Family Portraits
Becoming a parent myself has given me a deeper appreciation for how quickly seasons change and how precious family portraits can be. These moments pass faster than we expect, which is why I approach family sessions with care and intention.
Clients often tell me I bring a calm and reassuring presence to their session. My focus is on helping people feel comfortable and at ease, so the images reflect real connection rather than forced poses. The goal is always the same: photographs that feel natural, honest, and true to each family.
Visual Storytelling for Brands
Photography is most effective when it serves a clear goal. With a background in marketing and more than a decade of experience, I work with organisations to create imagery that communicates purpose, culture, and credibility. This includes brand storytelling, corporate portraits, campaign imagery, and event photography, all approached with clarity and intention.
I enjoy collaborating with teams to create visuals that not only look good, but are thoughtful, purposeful, and grounded in an understanding of people.
Photo Booth – Photo Party
Photo Party began with a simple idea: to give people something they would genuinely want to keep.
I believe a photo booth should deliver more than a quick snapshot. High-quality photography, well-designed visuals, and an experience people enjoy all work together to create prints that feel polished and intentional.
The business brings together my love of visual design, branding, and well-considered user experiences. More than anything, it has shown me how a thoughtfully crafted image can spark connection, start conversations, and leave a lasting impression long after the event ends.
A memorable project?
Since 2021, I’ve worked with Indooroopilly Shopping Centre on their annual Mother’s Day portrait activation. Across three weekends, I photograph more than 150 portrait sessions and capture countless meaningful moments. Providing families with beautiful portraits is deeply rewarding, and it brings me real joy to preserve the fleeting moments that define this season of life.
